Blessed are ...
The beatitudes are some of the well remembered verses of Yshua's teachings. They appear very soft and spiritual, unlike the Ten Commandments with "Thou Shalt Not ....". The deeper meaning of the beatitudes are often missed, even by non-new believers. It seems to focus more on positive reinforcements by beginning with Blessed are those who will do certain things. Upon careful reading and understanding, it may not be easy at all. In fact it reflects the perfect standard that Yshua expects us to live up to. By our own means it is as impossible to follow as the Ten Commandments. It is only by surrendering to the Holy Spirit that we can live out the Beatitudes.
