That I may know Him

Philippians 3:10
that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, 

This is the ultimate goal - that is to know Christ. It does not mean to know about Him, His life, His glorification and so on. It means to really be connected to Yshua and we cannot really do so if our heart is somewhere else. We must fully focus on Christ or lose focus on Him easily. There is the knowledge of His Resurrection, sharing of His sufferings and understanding His death. Beyond this we have to encounter the real living Yshua that no doctrine or theology would be able to help us achieve.
