Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?

When the disciples hear their Master saying that, perhaps they would have felt the sting in that. There are various speculations about this as to whether Jesus was reprimanding them or encouraging them that even a little faith is enough. The fact is that their faith was little. Jesus later showed that with such little faith, great works can still be done. Faith itself requires hope to be put on God. And since God cannot fail, this faith is actually grounded in power.
