Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you

 Luke 24:49
 Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem[i] until you are endued with power from on high.”

This statement applies to the early disciples between the time of our Lord Yshua's Resurrection and His Ascension. As soon as He Ascended, He is Glorified and the Holy Spirit has been given to humankind ever since. The rest is up to us to receive the Holy Spirit when we make Yshua our Lord and Saviour. We have full access to our Lord through the person of the Holy Spirit who lives in each one of us who calls Yshua, LORD.
