Isaiah 53:3
He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
This describes our Lord when He was on the earth. He faced rejection and being despised more than many of us could imagine. The sorrow and grief that He faced was not so much on His family or disciples on earth, but rather with the fallen humanity. Our state of sinfulness on earth is so opposed to God's Holy nature and Yshua experienced the conditions of sinfulness all around the society while He walked the earth. Are we at the point like our Lord, to recognize and grief about the conditions of our world today?
