seek, and you will find;

God wants His children to ask. But we may grow tired of asking because the things we ask for, are not given back to us. Instead of giving up, it is then that we should examine our motives. God has never meant to fulfill just our own selfish needs. Even so, we should not rule out asking things for ourselves, because He is Jehovah Jireh the Provider, and He will provide for our needs. On the other hand, there are also many things that we can ask about, including the salvation of others, the provision for others, the resource to continue the work for His Kingdom.
